About the event
Julia Fairrie from Fair&Co joins us to lead the Children’s art class this week
Creative activity is known to effect health and quality of life. The arts, creativity and the imagination help stimulate resilience, aid recovery and foster wellbeing. It has been scientifically proven that nature and art boost the immune system. Art is more than a subject, it is part of our existence, self-discovery and fulfilment.
About Julia
Julia is a Waldorf Steiner trained teacher. She practices imaginative, aesthetic and holistic methods to bring out the inner artist in every child.
Art is central to Steiner education. Art offers multiple benefits to children such as facilitating confidence and feelings of self-worth, creativity and imagination, a positive disposition towards learning and development. By enhancing children’s ability to observe, communicate and be creative through art children can be equipped with the vital skills needed to express themselves.
