Wildflower Embroidery

Spend three inspiring hours learning simple but effective wildflower embroidery techniques under the expert hand of designer dressmaker Catharina Eden.

Participants will start with a short introduction to different embroidery techniques that will be used and by discussing scale and form to suit their chosen garment from home. The embroidery can also be done onto a fabric from a selection that Catharina will have brought with.

Participants will be encouraged to dive straight in and start embroidering directly onto their garment or fabric after having traced on and planned the design first.

People of all abilities and skill levels are welcome and there will be no pressure to produce finished work – it’s a few hours to enjoy an inspiring time and to learn and practise a new skill to take home. Some may finish their chosen embroidery though and the ones who have not, will be able…
